The rules

First of all, you need to know that a The Race of Last Rebels contrary to its name, it is not a competition, but a playful relaxation and joint fun of amateur drivers. Therefore, it is the personal responsibility of each participant to act with care and appropriate behavior and to take care of their own and others' physical health and property.

Competition rules.

The safety of spectators and competitors is important to us, so we have defined some requirements that all entrants and their vehicles must meet in order to participate.

Drivers of vehicles

– All drivers must have a valid driver's license.
- Age-appropriate clothing is mandatory for drivers, mechanics and accompanying staff.
- Drivers and their passengers must wear closed, long-sleeved clothing, shoes or boots.
– In the case of open-top Roadsters and motorcycles, the use of crash helmets is mandatory.
– Driving under the influence of alcohol or other mind-altering substances is prohibited!
– Drivers must attend the briefing before the race.
– You can only participate in the competition with pre-registered vehicles.
– The driver is obliged to have a fire extinguisher in his car

It means immediate disqualification

- the drivers, mechanics or helpers are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- irresponsible, reckless driving that endangers others.
- non-compliance with the guidelines and instructions of the official organizing team.

Vehicles

– We only accept the registration of vehicles manufactured before 1965.
– The appearance of the vehicles, their main components, and their performance must be appropriate for the age, so they cannot be younger than 1965. (Except for the “Modified” category)
– The engine must be clean.
- Oil flow is not allowed, sweating is.
– The fuel system must be fixed and leak-free.
– Only a fixed gas tank closed with a tank cap is allowed.
– Loose, loose parts and objects are not allowed.
– A fire extinguisher is strongly recommended.
– The competition number must be clearly visible.
– The headlights must be removed or glued.
– The tires of the vehicles can be period-correct street or racing tires. Modern slick and off-road tires are not allowed.
– Tires must not have cracks or cracks.

Important!

During the competition, only judges, directors, competitors, competitor teams and members of the press are allowed to stay in the competition zone.
The organizers reserve the right to amend the conditions and rules, and have the option of independent review.

The 1/8 mile classic drag race

No timing, no technical gadgets. But there is raw power, there are Pin Up girls with checkered flags, asphalt airplane landing fields marked with straw bales, and competition judges who raise colored flags to indicate who was better.
Classic elimination competition and every race consists of a return leg.
The categories are set up based on engine performance.
For cars:
- Straight 4-6
- Flathead, Straight 8
– V8 after 1949
– 8+ cylinders
– Compressor/Turbo
For motorcycles:
– under 600 cm3
– over 600 cm3
– V2
Depending on the number of entries, we reserve the right to create or merge new categories!

Pursuit round race

Newly created dirt road, irregular circular shape. Straw bales on both sides of the track for safety. At the two farthest ends of the track, one competitor starts at the sound of the starting gun. The competition has three rounds, and the winner is whoever gets closer to the other during the three rounds. An elimination race where, thanks to the design of the track, the most important thing is not necessarily speed, but routine and knowledge of the vehicle.
